Well, I just can’t stop it-they are growing up! These snaps are from the first and last day of 5th & 8th grade. Just WOW..can you believe what a change they both had this year? It was a big one! I am so proud of them and am looking forward to Colton’s HS adventures and Grace in middle school.
I also wanted to share the end of year gift Grace gave her teachers. This is my favorite teacher’s gift ever. You are going to laugh at what actually inspired it (see video at the bottom of the post). Grace and I think this is just the most hysterical skit so we set out to create a few “googly eyes plants”. With a few simple steps we had our very own shifty-eyed greenery. I created a personal note and taped it to the plant care instruction insert, stuck on some googly eyes and we were set. They got quite a laugh and I don’t think the teachers will be forgetting this one soon. Grace told them she would – “miss SEEING them, and that the plant would keep an EYE on them”! hehe
I hope you all enjoy your summer vacation. I know we will. It’s my favorite time of year..better enjoy every minute with these two before they grow any more.
